our country has the most futuristic and beautiful skylines!
comparing to America
we have long long history and historic skylines!
HKskyline
Lijiang will look more amazing with the background of snow crowned mountain

The worst angle to view HK from. Blocks out the beautiful tower that is BoC.

True, when taking shots of the HK skyline, you need these in your photo.

1) BoC
2) Central Plaza
3) 2-IFC

That's the view from around the West Kowloon Cultural District, which is pretty much what the rich folks at the Harbourside and the Arch see, albeit they're likely going to get a glimpse of the BoC and Cheung Kong from their windows.

Lovely location for a stroll since the park hugs the coastline with views of the south, west, and a bit of north as well.

Wee bit different, as you mentioned - they do get to see the Boc and Cheung Kong, even if partially.

That angle is the exact worst angle.

Not exactly that bad ... even worse out in Kowloon City.

why did they build such a tall building right on the coast. it will block any building behind it from every angle.

...there is no other place to put it . It was build on reclaimed land as well. It is well situation in the Central district (indisputably Hong Kong's major financial district) , which is important since IFC is a business landmark - housing many large companies as well as the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.

That's true with the IFC's position. And I think it is better placed right where it stands right now. Unless they put it right next to the BoC which I wouldn't recommend

No, that would just look strange and take away the limelight from the BoC.

The CKC already does a fair bit of that, although it also complements it quite well I think.

Yes The CKC kinda blocks the view of BoC in some angles. Better if they have reduced the height.
