HSBC in Panama City, Panama. Would you like that money ironed after it's dried? HSBC needs to get its "cut" of this lucrative business too, it seems! Seems so undignified for a British Bank, I must say.

how does HSBC rank worldwide in terms of the size of the bank? Here in the US it is the 10th largest. I would think it's higher than 10 worldwide cuz it is so big in Asia. My guess would be top 5 but i'm not sure.

I left this building out because I don't think HSBC owns it anymore.

Williamsburgh Savings Bank, New York
Built:1929
Height: 156m
This is the tallest building in Brooklyn but HSBC sold the building last year and it will apparentely be converted into apartments

This list puts it a number 4, based on total assets

The one in shanghai is definitely one of the best HSBC building in the world ... its so magnificent ...

Many probably didn't know the one in shanghai and the 2 older ones in hk were both done by the same architect
P&T(Palmer and turner) ... the firm was started in hk by one of the five hundred british when the city was colonized ... and the firm created some of the finest colonial masterpieces in HK and Shanghai ...Most of its gems in hk are now gone including both its older hsbc in hk and hk club ...
However most of Its finest creation at the bund in shanghai has survived including bank of china, peace hotel chartered bank and hsbc

Whos property is the one in shanghai now???

TheCameraReturns took this current picture of the old HSBC Building in Manila's old downtown, Binondo. It is no longer owned by HSBC. HSBC started occupying this site in 1875. In 1921, this building was completed. The bank stayed here until it finally moved out in the 1970s

Tyronne posted this picture of Enterprise Centre, where the current headquarters of HSBC in the Philippines is.

And here are other photos of the same building, posted by other people.
