The former Hongkong Bank of Canada(inc. 1981) was renamed HSBC Bank Canada in 1999. The Canadian corporate HQ is in Vancouver, where it started, and was built on the site of the Devonshire Hotel and finished in 1987. There is a gigantic swinging 'Pendulum' inside the foyer.

Hongkong Bank of Canada along the way has aquired the Bank of British Columbia(41 branches), Midland Bank Canada, Lloyds Bank Canada, ANZ Bank Canada, Barclays Bank Canada, National Westminster Bank Canada. It's the 7th largest bank in Canada and the largest foreign-owned bank.

Even the podium is foul. There's basically not much to recommend this. By the way: was it a Bond company project?

I think Singapore's has the ugliest. It looks even worst than the Sydney one. But its bottom 3 or so floors were reclad a couple of years ago and look great actually. But the top floors are horrible. But I think its being reclad currently tho no one has any pic of what the reclad is like.
