Man the Canadian prairies are lit up pretty good. Considering there are only like 6-7 million people in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, that sure is a lot of light!

lol, North America. So crazy!

Did you know that Canada uses more electricity than all of Africa? The map is a good indicator huh?

I just noticed something, look at North Korea (you can clearly see an abrupt line between S. Korea and North.) All the lights seem to be out except for a couple specks. That's very strange.

Satellite image of the Earth at night

Click the link below. It is a satellite image of the whole Earth at night! I found out the image is a composite of hundreds of pictures made by the orbiting DMSP satellites. Pretty awesome stuff.
