In Germany the ratio seat : terrace is 1:2

So cap with seats is 24.454/2 = 12.227

I agree.

I mean, you can't avoid it and it makes a lot of good to the clubs and the stadium itself through advertising money.

But one would have to consider letting other people have the option of using the original name. It's stays anyway and is eternal.
Westfallenstadion, Volksparkstadion (Hamburg), Waldstadion (Frankfurt) and so on and so on.
