Fukuoka - Japan

Fukuoka - this is the biggest city in Kyushu Island.
The population is about 1.3 milion.

Street scenes and night lights are impressive. But not that many tall skyscrapers.

ok skyline for a city I've never heard of.

One of my favorite cities in Japan. Too bad the skyline isn't that remarkable though... 6.5/10 for the skyline.

Not many scrapers but wow, what a variety! That one building is spectacular, and the riverfront pic is amazing. 7/10.

I love Fukukoa. Somebody should post some pics of the Canal City development by the Jerde Partnership. Stunning stuff. The skyline's lovely, I think. The Fukukoa Tower serves as a perfect focal point and landmark. As far as Japanese cities go, I think this is one of the best.

if i remember it right, this city was voted by the then asiaweek as the BEST CITY IN ASIA (tied with TOKYO).

i love fukuoka but the skyline isn't all that impressive.

beautiful city but it looks too common. i mean, it may look like any other city. maybe some other pics can show more of fukuoka's "exceptional". 8.0

Nice, dense and orderly. Lacks height though except for those buildings next to the water, and yes that's a beautiful building with the spire....
