Hangzhou's West Lake is a very serene, leafy urban park. Take a ride on an electric boat on the lake to see the park and the skyline.

world's only national park within a city.
Wrong.
Vienna of course is nowhere near the size of Bombay but the National Park Donauauen lies partly on Viennese territory. (Not completely though.)

Vienna and Bombay are not the only cities with a national park bordered. The Kampinoski National Park has a border of around 5 kilometers with Warsaw, the capital city of Poland
In english:

I think that Central Park is the most impresive city park.

Maybe, it isnt the best one, and there are other parks wich are more original, but Maria Luisa's Park, in Seville (Spain) is one of the most beautiful and charming. There are a lot of monuments and ceramic.

I know they have to repair a lot of things (it's old, they made the park in 1927 because of the Iberoamerican exposition) and they also have to improve the gardens, but it`s so nice.

Take a look to the "Plaza de España" in the park.

I am so sorry, i dont know how to show pictures.

PD: For me, the best is PARK GÜELL in Barcelona.

Adiós, bye

well I want to introduce not a large fancy place but maybe one of the most
unique: its a wadi or valley called "Deer Valley" in jerusalem and only recently building next to it was stoped by green groups and it will be an open park like it is today, yes - not a zoo, you can walk in the city near some residential areas, and suddenly see open area and this:

it has to be central park. it is an oasis from the city. it is very natural looking and it has great location. most large city parks are on the outskirts. central park is right in the middle of the city center. this is where it is needed most.

I think Central Park is the most impressive , However, The Mont Royal park ( the same designer than Central Park) is also a great park, with greats view and very very well designed. So my favourites are:
-Central Park
-Mont Royal Park

Mont Royal is a bit scary to go up at night. I tried making the ascent from the university campus below and there were no lights along the footpath, and it was really pitch black even though the park is right in the heart of the city. Nevertheless, it was quite an adventure to hike to the lookout point at night!

In my opinion:

1) Parque Güel (Barcelona)
2) Central Park (NYC)
3) El Retiro (Madrid)
4) Hilde Park (London)
5) Mont Royal (Montreal)
