Club Rennaisance, Cosmopolitan and Opus Las Vegas look very nice to me...(I wonder if this is from the Opus Corp from Tampa? It looks like thier style of building)

I was wondering what the average occupancy rate would be in Las Vegas. The mind boggles at the number of Hotel rooms available??? It must be viable or is gambling making the bucks. As an Australian I was lucky to visit and stay at Ceasars Palace back in 1985. 20 years now past and it's still booming. Go for it!

Whoa, I didn't knew that there was such a big boom in Las Vegas. I'm looking forward to see LV in the future.

I live in Vegas and most of these condominiums are within the area of the strip and some are on the strip. Keep in mind the selling point of these condominiums is the view of the Las Vegas strip. These condos are not very tall because the airport is nearby and pretty much city council members limit the height of the structures. The Stratosphere got away with its height but barely. It's at the northern part of the strip almost close to downtown.

My parents have been to Wynn Las Vegas. They said the Buffet area is lovely and the food is one of the best in Vegas. They have also been to Paris buffet, Bellagio buffet, and Caesars Cafe Lago (Buffet style), so I guess Wynn's Buffet is definitely worth a try, plus it's not expensive.

One thing you must not miss is the "Lake of Dreams" at night. The waterfall turns into a video projection screen at night, and 10,000 Watts of electricity is pumped into the lake.......or something similar to that (hint: the bottom of the lake is covered in LED light bulbs).

There is also a cafe in the back of the hotel which also faces the resort's 18-hole golf course. It's a great spot to relax.

And don't forget to check out the Ferrari/Maserati dealership next to the main lobby, it features an Enzo Ferrari.

Regarding LV trying to lure the whole family into its "wholesome" fun idea, they have already dropped that because it didn't work. Vegas has realized that Sin City and "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" are much more profitable than a Disney World in the desert. They have shifted their focus back to adult entertainment.

I like the themed casinos, have you seen the new ceasars palace, its awesome.
i hope all the new hoels are near the blvd. because it sucks to walk or drive to the rio or the palms. besides if you leave the strip, vegas has many ghetto areas.

( sorry vegas peeps, but it is.)

Yes, the MGM Grand is the biggest with over 5 thousand room. I stayed there in September 2004, nice hotel, but not as impressive as the Venetian or the Bellagio. The Venetian will become the largest hotel-resort in the world with more than 16 million square feet and 7000 suites when the last Pallazo is completed in 2007.

There's also that one where George Clooney is part owner (?) Las Ramblas to be built somewhere by the Hard Rock.

Wynn - I still think it's a bit of a letdown, when they promised Bellagio ten times over...
