If the 306 m height is for the new CTBUH medition ? because I saw a big car entrance which it could not be reconyse by 2 but seem respect the 3

from Igor post 521

from CTBUH
Quote:
2 Significant: the entrance should be predominantly above existing or pre-existing grade and permit access to one or more primary uses in the building via elevators, as opposed to ground floor retail or other uses which solely relate/connect to the immediately adjacent external environment. Thus entrances via below-grade sunken plazas or similar are not generally recognized. Also note that access to car park and/or ancillary/support areas are not considered significant entrances.
However it's significantly open air

Quote:
3 Open-air: the entrance must be located directly off of an external space at that level that is open to air.

I don't think they count loading ramp entrances do they? That would seem to be a big stretch to include in a buildings height.

I cann't understand why some parts of this towers are at some slight angle to each other? Was this done for decoration?

I would think in this instance that it would not be counted in the height. the entrance seems to be situated away from the main towers. if it was part of the main floor of the tower i would say yes. not to mention from the above rendering the entrance looks like it's below the main floor.

Damn... 5+ Supertalls right there (not counting some towers who's on hold) in this amazing cluster.
while i share your enthusiasm i have to say that every great skyline has competent filler...i do hope that they plan for some of this....otherwise there will only be a bunch of really tall buildings .......dropping a "dramatic" distance on all sides of the skyline.....kinda like houston or dallas......where the tallest buildings are on the edges of the skyline......not really appealing.

Don't see any reson to hold it into *T/O* status and not to change it to *Compl*
