Anyone driving into downtown Bham tonight got a surprise with the first sign of work being done on City Federal...LIGHTS. I apologize that I had to take photos sans tripod but you get idea.
I agree, the building has a quaility that is vary rare. By becoming residential it will look even more enchanting at night. A building in downtown Atlanta of similar character is The Healy. It is not as tall but has many of the same traits and has undergone a long (but well worth it) residential conversion process.
This building will really be a gem when it is done.
