Yes - Draper's Gardens (the green midrise to the right of St Paul's cathedral) will be demolished. Also, the Stock Exchange tower (in front of Tower 42)
will be getting a major reclad:

St Pauls you mean?

Every city looks ugly from afar, as all you see is a mass of buildings and colours, and in the rain....looks alot better at street level.

Also, the dome of St Paul's itself, and its smaller turrets, are being thoroughly cleaned and restored to celebrate the 300th anniversary of its construction. The City is going to look magnificent by 2012.

maybe that's the reason.

do you think they are compatible with the skyscrapers at right?if they are not valuable,it's best to destroy them.

Are you chinese? It sounds like the kind of thing that's done in the rapidly growing chinese cities. Most European cities don't put up buildings, or pull them down at the same rate as the far east.

This is looking west from Greenwich, near Canary Wharf. I posted an earlier version of this rendering in the summary thread.
This is an updated version.
  • DIFA (Bishopsgate Tower) is now positioned correctly
  • Heron Tower is now facing the right way
  • Minerva has been added
  • 51 Lime Street has been added
  • Aragon Tower is shown with the height increase. I didn't bother with the setbacks though.

The Bishopsgate Tower, London Bridge Tower and The Leadenhall Building are, in my opinion, perfect=10/10. Go London!!!
