I know that this is the city and that any empty lot- or in this case, single story retail building- has the potential to become a tower; and that density is a good thing.....but I can't help but feel really bad for the people who bought a $1,000,000.00 + south-facing unit in the Bristol.

is that view being blocked? 1 mil is alot but the location is awesome.

That last pic of the near north side makes the city look a little like Tokyo or Shanghai [with the shoreline of Lake Michigan added which they don't have]. Very cool hi-rise jungle shot! I would guess the two buildings under construction in that pic are 353 N. Lasalle (foreground) and the Clare right?

I think you mean 300 N. LaSalle? I believe you're thinking of 353 N. Clark as far as the street number goes.

But, yes, the one in the rear is the Clare. You can actually see an itty-bitty piece of the Dana Hotel sticking out to the right side of Millennium Center.
