36 km long Bridge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. thats beyond huge. I wonder how you give direction to this bridge to a foreingner. I would simply say "Just go on a any bridge in Shanghai, If the bridge still hasnt ended after driving 20 km than you are on the right bridge". Talk about the bridge that never ends. This will be one of the crown jewel of chinese infrastructure after completion. Great work.

The altitude looks too high to be from an aircraft, or at least a civilian one.

1,42 billion USD? That's very cheap.

WDF 1.4 billion dollars only, how strange. i was expecting at least 3-4 billion. Apprarently there was a discussion over a bridge connecting doha to dubai, over 200 km long.

Wait, now I am really confused, is this not the bridge that was just completed - the one that goes out to those rocky islands off of Shanghai? For the new port or something?

Most probably, yes! But it can be argued that the crazy infrastructure projects that were seeing all over China at the moment is one of the reasons for the country's even crazier rate of economic growth. Very, very impressive.
