How many major athletic/ track and field events are there in this stadium every year?

not at all, but if you were smarter, you'd know that stadiums with tracks are very good for athletics but very bad for soccer. that's because the steps are far away from the field

I dont like it. It doesnt have a very modern or innovative structure, too sad building.

It looks a bit simple and outdated in my view. But ok... there are nice things to say about it too. I like the simplicity of the roof. It´s minimalistic to hide the lighting and the speakers etc like this. Very neat! And I also like the sober single coloured seating. To often stadiums get ruined by ugly plastic seating, think EURO 2004 for instance.

The design of the roof reminds me of a paper lamp shade. I like it-very unique.

I like the stadium. It is not architecturaly stunning but I find it nice looking and a good size for Seville.

The main problem with this stadium is that is too underused. The two football clubs in Sevilla already have their own stadiums, and it doesn't seem like they are going to move into this one ever. I have mixed feelings about the design of this stadium, and I prefer the Peineta proposal to this one.

White elephant.
Dig the pitch, expand to 65.000 and sell it to one of the city football team...

The outside of the stadium is really horrible imo but I like the interior.
Anyone knows if its used for concerts or other events often?

The stadium served as the venue for the 2004 Davis Cup Final. Anybody know how such a large stadium be configured for tennis?

An extra 15,000 seats?

...I can't see how that's possible.

Nice stadium though . . . is it used much these days?
