Suvarnabhumi Airport - The main passenger terminal building, with a capacity of handling 76 flight operations per hour, co-locates the international and domestic terminals, thou assigned to different parts of the concourse. In the initial phase of construction, it will be capable of handling 45 million passengers and 3 million tonnes of cargo per year. Above the future underground rail link station and in front of the passenger terminal building is a 600-room hotel operated by Accor Group under the Novotel brand. Between the airport hotel and the terminal building are the two 5-storey car parks with a combined capacity of 5,000 cars.

Long-term plans for four runways flanking two main terminals and two satellite buildings with a combined capacity capable of handling up to 100 million passengers and 6.4 million tonnes of cargo a year are on the drawing board. The second phase of airport expansion involving the construction of a satellite building south of the main terminal expansion is expected to begin 4 to 7 years after the completion of the first main terminal.

Overall, the services in the airport will be a spirit of perfect amity for passensgers' satisfying needs in the nearly future.

I think signage is a problem look at these two pics. Why can't they just hang the information up? Passengers could miss it so easily

And Beijing I think they're both going to be done at the same time, but I don't think Shanghai's new Terminal is anything special.

I agree with this.
East Asia: Beijing's new largest terminal will be busiest in East Asia.

Southeast Asia: Suvarnabhumi Airport will be definitely more important center hub than Hong Kong International Airport and Changi Airport (Singapore) because there are growing busiest flights in nearly future for sure.

Suvarnabhumi Airport Expansion (Future)

This below picture, the phrase 2 is for low cost terminal. It is not sure that it is the final formal plans for expansion?? I believe this design is good idea for lower terminal expansion because domestic and low budget international airlines will be moving to the future terminal separate from the largest terminal 1. This will will help Suvarnabhumi airport better benefits for growing air traffic and busiest.

The object circled in red is a satellite concourse, not a terminal, and I can only guess that it will be built very soon to add more gates to the existing PTC.
