Love the tower, and dont care what any melbournites try to say. its fat, but not nearly as "stumpy" as i envisioned, so i am happy.

Not at all. There is still a lot of cladding to go even though the floorplates have reached the core, the roof/parapet to extend a floor above that and then there is the 30m weather beacon to construct atop as per renders.

It looks very nice from most of the pics, great setbacks great facade and great shape. Except the last one.

Yeah, it is. That is what is meant by the title of the thread as it will hold the most floor space ie not meaning the tallest in Oz.

this building is awesome in person! it takes 10mins to walk around the sonofabitch.
its huge. the tower is most masive in Australia at 80m wide x 65m deep.over 3000sqm per floor and 4000sqm on lower levels. The 30m weather beacon is yet to be built. this will crown the top. a unique colour changing instrument with clock.

^ its basically finished. the 30m weather beacon on roof is just started construction. This structure will be a large cube like tower with opaque glass. it will have internal instruments that detect weather patterns and will change colours with storms ect. also a clock on top.

see render.
