Did you try "Khao Yam" served with "Nam Budu"?

another famous foodstuff in Songkhla is the "Sweet Shrimp ("Kung Wan")
Also, Songkhla is famed for its Chiku (a fruit) or "La-mut" in Thai.

I have just realised that they have added the Cat + Mouse statue on the beach... have been a long time since I hear anything about "Ko Nu - Ko Maeo".

I tried "Kung Wan" and some muslim food lah, great!

the chiku (in malay) is known as "la-mut" in thai
it is small, soft and juicy and has a brown colour flesh.
it is sweet and and comes with black seeds

Oh I totally forgot about this thread. It was so long ago, almost 3 years.
I went to Songkhla a few more times after creating this thread but didn't upload any photos.
I will probably go to Songkhla again this year and I'll share some more.
