Collections of pictures of electricity pylons

Many pictures of partly unconventional electricity pylons you can find on http://www.gorge.org/pylons/page1.shtml and on http://members.tripod.com/~aberkers/ .
Latter contains also pictures, which I made!

My father works for United Utilities. They use tracers on the wires from the nearest substation to track faults. It basically tells them how far down the line the fault is. They know where it is before they ever dig. The same system is used for overhead pylons. It's no harder to trace an underground fault than an overhead one, it's just more expensive to fix them.

Manchester has the most upto-date electricity pylons in the world which stretch all round thier Metro which incidentally is bigger then Birminghams and they are all charged up by Earlybirds farts which filter through the amazingly dense Manchester skyline and become electrified in the worlds tallest building "Beetham Manchester" where they power the whole universe (including Darth Vaders lightsaber).
