Very interesting movie, with some stunning visuals and a pretty original concept. As some review said, "it's a fairy tale story for adults". And it is, quite dark and graphic, but well worth watching.
I saw it a couple days ago on DVD...it wasnt what i had expected at all. I though there would be more of the visual effects or actual 'labyrinth' parts to it. But when they did show up they were great.

Its sort of a depressing movie to me!

Go in with low expectations. I did and I found it mildly entertaining. My flatmate on the otherhand was eagerly looking forward to it and rushed off to see it first day and came back rather disappointed.

Its not quite as good as the first two - and probably looks out of place against the first two in some respects. By the end the movie it just reminded me of a sort of silly monster movie - i.e. Godzilla or something.

Did anyone here see Shortbus?

It was my favourite film of last year. If you haven't seen it, then rent it out, it's brilliant.

King Kong is the comparison you were looking for. I liked it much more than the 2nd one!

Well I saw Spiderman 3 on Saturday. I liked it, but not as much as the first 2. The movie was much more effects and action driven and the storyline suffered because of it. Too many characters squeezed in and it muddied it up. But still enjoyable if only for the effects, which were amazing.

Well, it is afterall Pidey. Go for the SFX and not much in the way of depth. That 'look-for-the-darkness-within-you-bit' is being done to death though. They already went with that in 2 anyways.

I always like Kirsten (she's one of me fave Hollywood actors) and go the granny!

I'm somewhere in between an adult and kid. If you ignore the emo/ego bit where Peter Parker thinks he's top shit, it's not that bad a movie. I'd recommend to anyone who wants to go see it to leave at that point and return about half an hour later. It's cringeworthy.

I don't really like action movies, but I thought the second Spider Man was quite good.

I guess this one must suck though.
I only found out a new Superman movie had been made yesterday... :/
