Carpooling on bus lanes are usually a wrong thing to do, both technically and politically.

The sub-river tunnel segments of the Yellow line will have their ceilings redone, costing about 10M$ and obliging 25 weekend closures throughout next Spring and Autumn .. nearing 50 years by then, its inception hailing from tourism rationale will still trump.

Comment s'appèle cet appareil en français : R-autobus?

Plus, what 'well-heeled' Quebecker sinks his stumps into such boggy copter stops at that?

Ah! this place's striving for pottier lifestyles makes me laugh more 'n' more

Woman dead after scarf gets caught in Montreal Metro escalator

Woman at Fabre Metro station bent down to dislodge scarf and got hair caught in escalator as well

The escalator serves the unstaffed entrance of the pair's worth there.

Montreal shouldn't wait months on end before replacing, en masse, burnt out light bulbs along its passageways, paricularly in its escalator wells. They ought to replace them immediately.

Canadien French, yes; regular French, the auto prefix was abandoned ages ago .. same thing for coach (auto/car) .. neither English nor French around the continent has kept up with their evolving, mother counterparts in Europe (although Haitians commend me on my current French {e.g., Canadiens say 'trough' instead of 'fountain' when they wish to quench their thirst out in public}). My "R-" --as in 'rotorbus'-- tidily played into the STM's branding of their then-rush hour R-bus scheme for bus lines bearing down reserved bus lanes for the majority of their routes. Along with their Métrobus (rush hour express busses to stations), the R-bus was cast aside upon the advent of dozens of daytime express bus routes about 1½ years ago
