Two new A320-200 for IA. First one as YI-ARA(9 months old) and the second one as YI-ARB(2 months old). Both are stored at BGW.

No, that's a very old photo(2005) of a 767, not even Iraqi registred, that never flew for Iraqi Airways.

And that livery is used only once, for the this plane

Info about the planes:

About the one they will receive(it is stored at VIE btw), first flight was on 05-04-2012 for Niki, then leased to a random airline, back to Niki and now at VIE awaiting its Iraqi registration.

The second one.
First flight was on 08-11-2012 for Air Berling, now at BGW also awaiting its new Iraqi registration.

So in the past 6 months Iraqi Airways received:
- 3 A320-200 (average age 1 year)
- 1 A330-200 (age 10 months)
- 1 777-200LR (age 1.3 years)
- 1 747-400 (age 11.7 years)

They have re-opened routes to London-Gatwick, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Malmo, Delhi, Mumbai and Ankara.

They are planning on opening more routes soon.

YI-ASE 737-800 will be the first plane, of the 30 planes order, to be delivered to Iraqi Airways.

Here, at Boeing Field, in new livery.
