Tokyo Midtown Tower is gorgeous!

Wow! That such a beautiful box. Japanese skyscrapers aren't as audacious as its Chinese counterparts...but damn are they classy.

I love the Mid Town Tower and the complex of shorter buildings surrounding it.

...and yes, there is a higher office tower planned for Tokyo which is higher @ 338m and it has been approved. See renders & read some information of it at Nishi-Shinjuku 3-Chome

do we have a height restriction in Tokyo.????? why no tower goes higher just because of some eartquakes I think the engineers can figure a solution they must do

infact Japan has the tecnology to have higher buildings but the high limit in some part of Tokyo are due to the Haneda ariport that is really near to the city...

I think there's always a threshold when going higher isnt economically feasible. I am sure they have the technology to go much more higher but then earthquake proofing for such tall buildings comes at a cost.

Otherwise, I am sure Tokyo would go much higher.
