At least they kept the colour.

Here (Rybnik, Poland) they didn't keep the colour.

They didn't keep pretty much anything other than shape but it was a much less interesting design.

This tower in Rybnik has been upgraded from 1960's to 1980's

But still - not that bad.

I think 80s would have teal cladding and a pyramid roof

I think it went from Communist 60s to American 60s

St. Paul Union Depot is a principal station along the Amtrak Empire Builder route.
It sat abandoned for several decades until rail service was restored there last year. It now serves as multimodal hub for light rail, long distance buses and intercity trains.

Washburn A Mill was a grain mill and flour storage facility in Minneapolis:

As technology and consumer preferences evolved, the A Mill became obsolete, and was shut down in 1965. In 1991, it was nearly destroyed by fire.

During the late 1990s, the rubble was cleaned up and walls were fortified. Shortly thereafter, the Minnesota Historical Society began developing a museum on the site.

Today it is home to Mill City Museum that celebrate Minneapolis's long history as a milling capital:
