It was an alright building, but built in the wrong location. It didn't fit the streetscape at all, with its narrow vertical oriented buildings. And this being the main drag from Central Station to the city's main square and all, it had to go. The new exterior is actually really nice from up close. The architecture is a modern design with hints of 1930's and 1880's local design styles. Also the passage was really awful. It will become a lot better.

When tree is not in a forest, it is a bit problematic when tree is uneven and old. Those trees are for decorations and greenery and not for wilderness and natural heritage

This kindergarten looks like it was designed by one of the painters of "phantastic realism". As such, a certain vicinity to Jugendstil is obvious.
