How can you say that after all these photos we've seen in this thread?? Sorry, but the pics seem to suggest otherwise.

Because people in Warsaw think that if nothing happens inside Warsaw then nothing happens outside at all

Poland indeed doesn't reconstruct much anymore - yet there's a whole lot to do.

I'll introduce some further reconstructions going on in Germany later on.

Swinoujscie seems to be a really nice place - one, you should come up with, when some Germans claim, that "polish administration" has mismanaged and destroyed "their" left towns.

They go through all the trouble of restoring The Hotel Monopol to its old glory only to mar the results with some ugly modern contrivance capping the roof? I suppose they will say more space was needed but this is unforgivable.

The newly cleaned facade is beautiful but I kind of liked the grimy look, as it blended very well with the dark brick of the church behind it.
Great photographs.

Interesting stuff. But I also don't like the modern roof space expansion of the Monopol.
It's nice to see they partly reconstructed it (the tower and some ornaments), thou.

Thanks for introducing these projects!
