The revitalization of Stockholm was done 40 years ago. Its really interesting to see what is being done in eastern europe.

I spent summers in Zielona Gora as a youngster so I knew I pretty old town was, but I had no idea Bielso Bialo was so impressive. Is the old town of BB as big as Zielona Gora?Thanks

Well, the better question is: What the heck did they do to the access balcony?

Why is it just bricks now, no plastering, no paintwork?
Looks unfinished and pretty horrible now.

Because it is originally.This is so-called Roman facade and it is made of bricks, and taht facade is plastered and paint in a poor earlier reconstruction
