It was about time for Porto's city hall, looks so much better now Especially the fact that it sits high above the townscape makes the whole place appear much more pleasing now.


Regarding Gdansk/Danzig: I think they should finally start renovating the old town extensively, it looks quite worn out in many districts/alleys/streets.
Especially the lack of colours bothers me there, grey all over the place (except the main axis / market which is absolutely unique, colour- and wonderful of course).

We dont have the kind of money you see being put to use in Dresden/Drezno. Its not a complex large scale renovation rather a bit by bit private/public/local/municipal etc type of mix.

Przemysl (Poland) is renovating old basements so tourists can get between buildings. This is becoming more common in Poland (excavating old basements). Are other towns in Europe doing this??

As I know only one building is new, others are revitilized and some of them reconstructed
