I'm really sorry but I had to remove this post, I hate having to do it but it interferes with my and I'm sure many others internet speed.

Lesson for the day, please no more than 6-8 photos per post, this one had over 30

People, limit your posts! We're perfectly fine with 3-5 projects and pics per post!

Else, hardly anyone will carefully read your posts. Thanks.

Now you don't have to go to Katowice for sightseeing because you know ever single house

So glad to see this being roconstructed. I heard about plan to revitalize the mine complex already in 2009, when I visited the place, so this is really great change.

Btw., it would be trolling at it's finest, If I would repost the reply with all the images

Poznan - Poland

I can't really remember this being posted here .

This was an old control room for the railways that was vandalized for many years as it was empty

Finally, someone bought it and renovated it

And made out of it a decent bar/pub/gallery

Now it looks fine again

Poznan - Concordia Design

This was once a printing office, but it was empty for the last years

After revitalization, it has become a center for artists and designers

Now it's the designer's hotspot

Poznan - Okraglak

The Okraglak was built in 1948-1956 as a kind of shopping center.

I still remember walking through the different shops, always heading to my favorite toy shop But in last years, most of the shops sadly disappeared

Finally revitalization of the empty (?) building begun a year or two ago

Now it has regained its glory. An entrance to the basement has been added and a square with trees and benches is to be made the next months around it

Inside it has been modernized, mostly for office space

And the most stunning piece of this building presents itself proudly again: its magnificent staircase

View from the sky

Poznan - Stary Browar

For many years, in the very center of Poznan, there was an old brewery. It was a huge empty area

The wife of Poland's richest man decided this was a perfect spot for a shopping center

Stary Browar (Old Brewery) was born

First, it was just a few floors

In two buildings

It turned out that it was a great idea, therefore another part was revitalized and built in the same style of the brewery

Consequently, it became a huge shopping complex

Located in the financial heart of Poznan

You can shop, eat, drink, visit art galleries, ...

It got the title of 'Most beautiful mid-sized shopping center in the world' in 2008, the pictures explain why

And please limit your posts to no more than 6 pictures, I don't want to have to remove valuable information but I will if the volume of pictures freezes my computer!

one of the finished home we called it "rusun" which means "rumah susun" in English it is "stack housing":
