Well, in Buenos Aires the most famous revitalization (and one that is studied around the world for its success) is the neighborhood of Puerto Madero.

It's just an old and good looking house from the 17th century. It was on the 10 lei banknote, and it had the coat of arms of the influential Cantacuzino family.

It's nowhere near as bad as the fake chemical-y stone that they're using nowadays in constanta's renewal.
Something like this. It stains after a month.

I've never seen that in Poland. How does it looks on the pavement?

It's really hard to find pictures online (I don't know the proper name for it) but it doesn't look good. It looks obviously fake and like I said, it stains.
