I think you're overreacting a bit, this material doesn't look bad at all. And If you have trouble finding pictures with it, It means It's not that popular

The worst thing about concrete blocks is not the looks. It's the fact that after 5-10 years It's in a state of total devastation.

This is how modernist buildings in Eastern Europe should be renovated. White paint, no exposed mechanical units, and matching black window frames.

If the left side were unrenovated, it would look like the right.

Is it standard in the Czech Republic to paint tenement houses in one tone during a renovation? I noticed that many facades did not have any articulation in colour.
