Yes but that's gonna wait, not only that the former publisher BIGZ that used to be there is bankrupt it's also a huge building so it will take time to find the investor.

It used to look like this, and it was even bombed in WW II http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...trari_bigz.jpg

I don't know if you call resurfacing, or recoating revitalization but it's happening here, in Sonargaon, at the Sonargaon Folk Art Museum. (I couldn't find before pictures) but work is slowly progressing.

Sonargaon, meaning 'City of Gold'; was once the historic administrative, maritime and commercial hub of bengal. The locations (in the heart of the ganges delta) allowed the city to become of major importance to traders, and users of the silk roads. It was seen as magnet for all and hub for the ancient rich (especially rich women who wished to by muslin - fabric of fine quality), however due to certain circumstances during late mughal and nawab of bengal and british rule, the city that once flourished, was left desrted as administrative capitals where moved around in Bengal. most notably was the shift of Dhaka to Kolkata (than dacca and culcatta) by the British, people left the city to find and follow opportunity, the roads of this ancient city are left empty, only the sound of rickshaw can be heard plying it's streets, boarding a few expats here and there. It's time we revitalize the whole city, not just the museum.

And after:

I wouldn't call that strictly 'revitalization', because he's still dead
Worth showing anyway, I think.

There are several buildings being restored in Guatemala City, specially in the old town. Here are some:

And here's a really old house once owned by a man from the middle east (not sure where):
