30 million Euros? Can't be. Must be at least 5 billion Euros for something as extensive as this!

No No, 30 million just for the open space landscape (benches, lamps etc.) of this square.

Wow, I love this so much. I like how it doesn't rely on height to achieve the 'wow' factor... reallly really really loving the The Elbphilharmonie on Kaispeicher.

Don't worry goschio. Those masterplans from the contest are just the very first ideas and won't be built like that. Actually I have the impression that these masterplans were created in lunchbreak sessions sacrificing 5 minutes of the architect's lifetime.

That looks really funky. Has a Zaha Hadid appearance to it.

Two more drawings of the new Unilever Germany HQ. Architects are Behnisch Architekten, Stuttgart. The tower will be a residential. Construction can start next year.

Hey ,some good news of Hamburgs local press: A few days ago they reported the crazy Livingbridge should really come true . The new plans and pics showed some two new high rise buildings constructed over the livingbridge like a huge gate like those buildings on Berlins new central station but taller for some 60.000 sqm office in the towers allone . Investor Dieter Becken recently sold some of his existing building in Hamburg to Morgan Stanley for some 700 mio Euro so he and others want this project soon . Next step until summer is a "Machbarkeitsstudie".

Schade, daß man nichts von einem Shanghai Square hört, schließlich ist Shanghai neben Chicago auch eine Partnerstadt der Stadt Hamburg.
