Imagine looking out from the tallest balconies and not seeing lower floors due to the curvature (if you look out over the extreme left side, of course). It'd be the abyss of space, as if the unit were suspended from above.

He's a cocky mother and seeks attention with as much ferocity as Paris H. I despise the SOB and everything he stands for. His architecture garners either lovers or haters and rarely anything in between.

But so far this building has me hooked...It will stand across the street from Vancouver's tallest, 200m, currently u/c.

you know who he reminds me of, now that I think of it? Carl Reiner (Saul) from Oceans Eleven. You know, the old guy who tricks Benedict by pretending to be some German businessman?

Very nice tower, but not a unique concept. Imagine a city full of towers like this...

This one only turns 45 degrees - but I agree with the comparison (and with a Freedom Tower comparison.

its great. Sydney is about to get a similar tower. It also has a 45deg turn and will only be 120m/40storeys but still be great.

This thread certainly could do with some more information and a proper name (mods???). Thread about it in NASF: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=221701

Vancity of course isn't the name of the project- its in Vancouver - its called 1133 West Georgia (at the moment anyway). Emporis and SSC both say height is 183m/600ft. Emporis has 167m/550ft as roof measurement. Is that for the old design?

Fantastic design anyway.
