The most advanced tower in construction is Torre Espacio , constructed by the Villar Mir group, and that will have 223 meters of height. It is designed by I.M. Pei and it will be for office use.

The project goes on hold a lot of time, though the local, regional and national autorities it’s trying to reactivate in order that it begins at the end of this year. The last proposal includes the construction of between 12 and 15 skyscrapers. This zone is by the side of the 4 Madrid Arena towers.

1 tower with 55 floors
3 towers with 40 floors
2 towers with 30 floors
2 towers with 45 floors
2 towers with 25 floors
2 towers with 20 floors
2 towers with 35 floors

Due to the fire of the tower Windsor in the complex Azca, this one is being demolished and another tower will be constructed in this place. The height might be between the 120 and 140 meters.

Yes, this pic was taken some months ago, before the fire. The burned building is the one on the left, under the word "zona" in the pic.

Nice, it's a big name show in Madrid about the architects.

btw, in Europe the architect is always important for the projects, and in asia and america the name of the architect is sometimes not even mentioned... I don't know why, there the constructor and develloper are more important?
