yes the video is the best advertising movies for city planning I've ever seen. Very sad such such a small resolution. I can't wait for the first parts to be constructed! The pictures of the lake are amazing!

Why is this topic moved to news and devellopment? I think someone doesn't understand that this project IS UC!

"The expected development and construction period of Central Living Area is from 2002 to 2020. By then, it will be 74.1 square kilometers and have 450,000 inhabitants. The first phase construction began from 2002 and the designated area is 22 square kilometers."

So not ready in 2008.

Could someone provide pictures of the lake before construction? I wanna see how this place looked like. The scale of the project is AMAZING.

It is a man-made lake, before that, part of the land belonged to the sea(East China Sea).
