Looking at downtown Vancouver from North Van, in particular Londsale Quay, is probably my favorite view...it will be even better once Shangri-La and Erickson's tower...

If you live in the North Shore specially in the higher elevation, you get a different view of downtown Vancouver. Stunning.

North Shore may not have the skyline other cities has, but it is one of the best suburb to live, not only in the lower mainland but in Canada.
