great pics I havent seen many updates in the construction updates so I figured it would be here. It seems like it is slowly creeping further and further upwards.

Beautiful images! When I walk on Wacker, I look up at Marina, IBM, Trump, and Wrigley all lined up... and wow. It is an awesome thing to see.

Does anyone know why the silver/gray type of fascade used for the setback parts is used on some of the sides? I just noticed it today as I walked by the building. The slanted side has glass only on the two nearest floors to the setback. Is this because of the garage or what?

you can see what I mean in these photos taken by some forumers:

On a side note, I realized few weeks ago that Aon Center will disappear behind Trump, at least when you're eastbound on 90/94

From Museum Park

From the Tribune Plaza.

What a cool combination of Meis Steel, Trump Glass and Wrigley Terra Cotta!

The gray fascade you are seeing are vents, both for the garage (up the side of the first dozen or so floors) and for the mechanical floors.

Yeah, I knew they were vents. It just looked weird since the last two floors were not vents, but glass. Or maybe its just me and it looks fine to everyone else?

Whoa. It looks black. It's always going to be fun to see what color this building is on any given day.
