Yes - impressive in its gaudiness. Can only be described as Trumpian.

Yes, which is what's for me so surprising about this building in general. For its size, it's about as unassuming and sensitive to its surroundings as can be. Qualities which are the opposite of Trumpian.

Does anybody have any shots from the Festival of Lights?

I watched the fireworks from the Columbus Drive Bridge, and I could see them reflected in Trump's glass - breathtaking.

BTW, the Columbus bridge is a highly recommended spot - it's never too crowded like Michigan/Wacker or Pioneer Plaza. There was only one row of people between me and the railing. I first tried to go to the Riverwalk, but the cops were keeping people out.

^Pretty nice considering that yesterday was one of the worst days for photography. Will we ever see blue skies again?

Yeah, I hear there is a forecast for partly clear skies in March!

What is that huge floor lit up right above the hotel portion? You have a closeup of it and you can see furniture and other things in it. Is that the other end of the level that has the Ballroom with the chandelier?

Took this last night with my Cellphone. Not great quality, but seeing the twin cranes masked in clouds at under 50 stories with the dull lamp glow sure was neat.
