I love that view down Wacker, to the east. Just wish someone would clean up the old Chicago Motor Club building. Kinda ugly from the side.

I had to drive in to my office on Sunday (I usually take the train) and I have to say, coming down LSD from the north this building is quite prominent in the skyline now.

I was trying to squint my eyes and imagine the additional height on Trump, plus the other buildings that will be coming up soon. Our skyline is changing quite a bit right now!

I like the way it gives a middle peak to the view between Hancock/Aon to the east and Sears to the west from the perspective you mention. Waterview should add a helluva lot to the mix as well.

If you get a chance get a few photos. South on LSD is one of my favorite drives anywhere.

Some misc pics from Wednesday 4/30:

Detail of the walkway finishes; I'm with Honte on this - the materials seem disconnected from the rest of TT (although the walkway itself is a great space):

Installing the stainless railings:

Other side, SE corner, walking from the lobby to the river:

The view will be choice:

Couldn't find out what they were assembling/installing here, but the blue/green cube looks otherworldly:

Note the drawbridge:

Cliff effect of Trump's South wall face:

Is that blue/green cube thingy possibly an elevator, going down to the river's edge?
