From Flickr:

I love that developers space towers apart in Chicago, which has created one of the world's best skylines!

WOW! You do realize that if you get to work on the spire people will be bowing at your knees. I appreciate your time in telling us what is going in trump and also the clare.

It looks taller than aon center already from this angle! So is it actually gonna be 92 floors or 96? Any chance of Trump surprising Chicago by adding another 5 to 10 floors to make this the 3rd 100+ floor building in the city?

It's 96 floors total (92 regular + 4 mechanical). There is zero chance that additional floors will be added, especially considering the slow market.

We can always hope, right? Just out of curiosity, can anyone tell me the cost associated in adding more floors for a massive building like this?

It's not just the cost of construction. It would mean that Trump would have to sell that many more units. And sales haven't exactly been brisk.

There are 4 mezzanine levels which make the tower 96 floors.

No, there won't add anymore floors.

I live in Wicker Park and can see this building from my window. However, I was at the Sox game this past friday and the view from down there really changes the look of the building. It looks so much skinnier when its viewed from the south side.

I really should have taken a picture from the bridge over 94 near the redline platform.

This building is beautiful in my eyes and sores with great might. I have just taken on an extra job to help pay for my plane fare to chicago. This city is so rich in Skyscraper history. First stop Trump tower then on to the aon centre.

Greetings from New Orleans! I was in the great city of Chicago over the Fourth, and I was quite impressed with everything going on. Trump has grown tremendously since I last saw it in late 2006, and I had a great view of it and the northern skyline from the Hard Rock Hotel. (A great hotel, by the way.) When it comes to architecture, public art, parks, and landscaping, you guys leave 99.9% of the cities in the dust.

The Taste of Chicago was great. It kind of reminded me of JazzFest with less entertainment. I will say, though, JazzFest is better. But, that's about the only thing better about New Orleans than Chicago. Were it not for your winters, I'd move there in a heartbeat.
