I think that's just something that SSP people are doing. They also made the Chicago SkyTower..about 40 different buildings.

I think its probably just made up. It would be hard to have such a huge tower in LA, especially with all the earthquakes.

Don't expect buildings with pointy tops in LA either. There is a zoning ordinance that requires a helipad on the roof of tall buildings in LA County, hence all of the flat tops. Look at Luma, it's 19 stories and it has a helipad.

How about the US Bank Tower having a observation room? You know how cool it would be to see what LA looks like from 1,000 feet up?

After the first earthquake: "TIMBER!"

It wouldn't last. If not the earthquakes, the aliens in some Hollywood movie would be sure to destroy it first. They seem to have a thing for tall buildings.
