Cool!

It's still on hold though so should be back in the proposals section but I hope it really does resume this summer

The roof is 288m and the spire is 300m.
Also, the new design is classified as a super tall by KPF and supertalls are 300+.
Common sense

You have to post a source for things like that.

If the height was indeed changed back to 300m you have to provide a source.
Indeed.

The top of the building as measured from the ground (AGL) is 287.90, unfortunately the AOD figure (304.90) includes any topography (i.e. a tiny hill in this case!) - so it's official height remains unchanged in this case at 288m.

I don't think you ought to worry much about the height, tbh.
It's probably one of the best designs of the last decade so far (and that's saying a lot).

Last I heard they were working to get a deal thrashed out by last March... guess that didn't happen? If they had just built the ******* thing it would have started filling up. I saw somewhere Lloyds want to move but cant find enough space in the City. Hope the pinnacle hasn't missed it's chance.

Pinnacle may yet scale lofty heights

Might The Pinnacle saga be reaching a happy ending? Work on the 1000-foot tower in Bishopsgate stopped 100 feet above ground in early 2012 after funds ran out.

Agent CBRE has been searching since January for an investor to stump up £500 million to turn the stump into a 63-floor tower.

A new backer is close to being chosen. Work may begin again in the autumn. Architect KPR has rationalised the design. Builder Brookfield Multiplex has trimmed its estimate by £58 million to £495 million.

The original Arab investors have taken a £200 million hit on the £400 million spent so far. Instead of 8000 workers, 10,000 will be squeezed into the tower. All these changes combine to lower the economic rent to £55 per square foot. What could go wrong? Up, up and away!

Absolutely fantastic news. Thanks for sharing. We need this tower in London. It's such a good opportunity.

By this time next year, probably foundations and site prep. I wouldn't expect a stump of any meaningful height.
