I love this tower.

Rendering of this scraper are the best I was ever seen.
Greater London plus metro area is 18 million
Paris plus Metro is 12 million

London in area is twice the size of metropolitan New York.
Paris is a lot smaller than London.

Ny's population is larger than london's -- You need to take in a much larger area to get that 18 million figure, something like the whole of south east england. NY has 18 million in a much smaller area. Check out demographica.

London metro is only slightly larger than Paris metro, that 18 million figure is some PR bullshit invented by the GLA. The truth is that the size difference between NYC and London is much bigger than between London and Paris

Anyway, it's true that this is not the subject... I can't wait to see this one rise, i'm slightly disapointed by the design change but it's still a very nice project, I'm eager to see it as the tallest in the city.

I'm a bit disappointed about the reduction in height (would've been awesome at over 300m), as it makes the tower look out of proportion from some angles, but it's still my fave London proposal. Good to hear that it'll be getting underway next year.

I know it's an odd thing to say about a 288m tower, but I really like the base.

It is funky, very inviting at ground level, you'll gravitate to it to under the protection of it's skirt. so much better than the normal wall with a door in it.

You know what they say, if a building does not work at ground level, it has failed.

This has the potential to overtake The Shard as the most beautiful future skyscraper in Europe, that is a great video. Thank you Jef!

the design is good, but too squat overall. it doesnt look as elegant as it did at 307m where it was my most favourite proposal anywhere. now, i'm less than enthused. i give it 7/10

I'm a big enthusiast of this tower, but I have to say that I'm a bit disapointed with it after seeing it from this angle:

Maybe that wouldn't happen if this tower hadn't been shortened.Well, every building has its dark face
