Tower 42 (the building on the far left in the previous photo) was always 3m taller than Swiss Re - now the Heron tower is tallest in the 'City of London'. But there are also 3 other buildings in London taller than Swiis Re at Canary Wharf. I hope this helps .

Great looking tower. London deserves much more towers like this one.

Only from the south. Unless you mean 'cover' it in terms of height...

I'm happy cause London's skyline is changing
I think it'll be the best skyscraper in Europe (it looks fantastic, makes the skyline more expressive).
Grow up, cute!

I believe these renders are showing the slimmest view of the tower. I think from the side, it's twice as wide and far less than half as good looking.

This one is a close up, but Heron is on the left.

Excellent reason to build more later!

These renders are obscene... I'm so in love with 2012 already!

I don't think it will. Besides, both are amazing skyscrapers. Both will stand out.

Loving the new renders and the old one with Cheese Grater. This is going off topic but what's the latest with 122 Leadenhall?

Not much to say, still on hold. However, the Walkie Talkie, while not being as tall as that one, will probably go ahead, according to the latest news from Land Securities, that showed strong interest in keeping the project.

In that view, Heron is directly to the left of Tower 42.
