updated newsletter, very difficult to read, but all sounds promising:

all I can make out is May is preparation for commencement of 'mega steel frame construction from basement level three' and that TC 3 will go up, with TC 4 replacing TC6 (current).

lots more vertical steel in the hole. can't be long till the concrete pour starts on the core basement raft.

The progress is good!

I hope that the floorbase will be ready to go by the end of May.

updates! raft pouring day last Weds:

you can see the concrete pour on the bottom left:

monday this week:

today - lots more bracing at the far south of the site, and looks to be preparing for a future pour:

most exciting photo - the site plan photo updated says that the first t/c which will be situated in the core is going in over the Easter weekend which is two weeks on Sat. Look carefully at the photo and hoarded off bit by Bishopsgate you can see the blue crane base already on the site, lying on its side.

In just over a month what was a really messy site has become one of the most promising construction places in London.

Thanks for the pictures.

Just out of curiosity, what did you imagine london like? It's always interesting to hear others peoples view of places

(for instance my view of tel Aviv is as sun, sand, beach and a general view of it as the debauched fun loving centre of israel)
