Agreed. It really will be one of the greatest skyscrapers in the world when it's done. Sure, it might not be as high as some, but its unique design and dominant position in one of the world's most major cities is enough to place it among the best.

Who actually is planning the quarter and for what purposes?

That's the same design as GLA (the helmet).


Foster is sometimes simply amusing.




Looking towards Charing Cross is very nice in that photo.

The core is due to start rising in June.

It was originally 307m high, so it would've been supertall, but got a height reduction because of the stupid flight paths.
