Not much work apart from the cranes but at least is a lot tidier

Above ground construction is supposed to start soon though. It must shoot up like a rocket as the Shard did .

In Paris, a tower is almost finished with quite the same design:



Some lower, but the same idea I guess.

I'm looking at this, and while i see small differences in the pictures, im not actually sure what is being done - can anyone tell me what stage they are at or what job they are currently performing?

Apart from the already mentioned steel columns, go a few pages back and see for yourself how messy and dirty the site was awhile ago. There is a concrete slab in the basement now, as you can see.

I never see so many steel struts and columns( kingpost) on a building site....is it because they didn't construct the retaining wall system well...
these steel struts and columns looks like a metro site......
