That picture of the tower on the poster is out of date right? That the old version before the hight-reduction.

I think that's the version that's going to be built - it's 105m higher than Tower 42.

It's cool to see what their schedule looks like. Thanks for posting the updates.

I prefer the Shard so I don't mind this one being shorter, so the star can shine.

I think I am one of the few that prefer the Pinnacle before the Shard. It is a beauty and it is located perfect in the city and will therefore make a great addition to the skyline.

i agree with jlag, both towers are awesome, but i like the design of the bishopgate much more than the shard.

In terms of shape the Pinnacle is certainly more interesting but I think the Shard takes the crown for its location, cladding and height.

The pinneacle is my favorite but the Shard is 2nd or 3th with the leadenhall building.

I'm actually not a huge fan of the shard's cladding and think it's overrated. I actually think that the Pinnicle's cladding would appear even better due to the more interesting architecture itself. And since you guys have ranked your favourite projects being under construction I'm gonna reveal mine as well...
1. Leadenhall
2. Pinnacle
3. Shard

It's hard to decide which one is better, because they are different from each other. The Shard seems like a lonely and huge spire.
What's good about The Pinnacle is that it's going to fill up the City, it will make it bigger in some way, I think it'll fit there.

PS When I'm looking at the project of the Pinnacle I have a weakness to it.

The reason I thought the render on the poster must be out of date is because it seems to be the same render as the one on the first page of this thread, which was posted in 2005, and that was before the height reduction right? So it seems to make sense that this render would represent the tower as being a bit higher than it actually will be.
