i didn't even realized that building was u/c

then it becomes true... This is the one imo that would set london as the first european skyline because with shard i don't see for the moment another city in europe that could compete

first time i've come to this thread and i'm well impressed. didnt realise it had started again.
Progess looks great and will look even better when we see some steel!
The core is huge!

Can anyone explain slipform for me. After reading they expect to cast 2m a day on the 'walkie talkie' core I'm just wondering about slipforming. How long can you leave between pours. The core on this at times has not moved that fast, on ones like the shard it was quick in comparison. Whats the minimum and maximum times between pours? Do you have to pour whilst its still curing? I'd presume so otherwise it wouldn't be 1 big core would it?

Sorry for the questions and lack of knowledge but I'm a skyscraper fan but not clued up on the methods, but keen to learn, thanks in advance......
