1. Petronas (great shape, great cladding, very interesting to look at)
2. 2IFC (simple and elegant)
3. Jin Mao (interesting shape, complicated cladding but beautiful. the top part looks little bit odd at certain angles)
4. Sears Tower (very majestic and huge. however, too boxy and at certain angles it looks so out of shape)
5. Taipei 101 (cladding is so-so. tiers look ugly, bottom looks so robotic, top pure ugliness)

Sears as well as 2IFC are extremely great towers. Their design is original and timeless as the other towers are to oriental, extreme for me. I prefere simplicity this is why I will never understand why ppl design such buildings like Jin Mao, Petronas or Taipei 101

Two International Business Center looks like an 80s ***** that belongs in Houston.
This must be backlash voting against the Sears crushing the banker-built, yuppy, new school opponents as usual.

Fear me!

Racialist

Kidding ~ I agree with you though. The Sears impresses much through a sense of a 'power' (because of how big it is) than through design.

depends on the view of each.
2IFC is great with awesome cladding
a modern design, and its simple. good corporate feeling about it.
2nd favorite is sears, since from the right angle its like a dark tower of evil
2IFC wins.

Sears Tower although Petronas is growing on me. Jin Mao and Taipei 101 are hideous, possibly the ugliest around.
